I make three photographs of the persons standing in front of me. Trying to stop the moment where the body answers my questions.

What are you living for?
When is death present for you in your life?
Which is the last image you would like to see before you die ?

Ante Mortem is a perpetual collection of instants.
A dialog, an anthology of reflections, hopes, simple thoughts or streams of consciousness. It is laying bare emotions in order to unleash something.

Ante Mortem is a project I started one year ago and which I’m carrying on in several cities in Europe and around the world. With Antem Mortem I try to examine the very same concept of immortalize and I collect perceptions on black and white medium format film.
